Windows Vista Resetting TCP/IP
Sometimes the TCP/IP is configured improperly, or is damage or corrupt which can cause connection problems or not able to connect at all. After trying everything else to connect, resetting the TCP/IP may work.
Note: Images are from Windows 7, but the procedure is the same.
Click on the "Start" Button
In the search field, type in cmd.
Right click once on cmd.exe.
In the drop-down menu select Run as administrator.
Click the Yes button.
At the prompt type in
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt and press the "Enter" key.
There maybe a pause for up to a minute.
Once the prompt returns type in
exit and press the "Enter" key.
Restart your computer.
