Windows XP Resetting TCP/IP
Sometimes the TCP/IP is configured improperly, or is damage or corrupt which can cause connection problems or not able to connect at all. After trying everything else to connect, resetting the TCP/IP may work.
Click on the "
Start" Button
Click on "
Run...".
In the "
Open" field, type in
cmd.
At the prompt type in
netsh int ip reset c:\tcpipreset.txt and press the "Enter" key.
There maybe a pause for up to a minute.
Once the prompt returns type in
exit and press the "Enter" key.
Restart your computer.
